LEARN TO SKATE
With every sport, first skills to be established are the fundamentals, and the very basis of a good hockey player is a good skater. As players join Learn to PLAY they will continue to participate in skating drills to advance those skills, but the basis is most important as early as possible.
Youth ages 4-8 wanting to join Learn to Play are required to be able to consistently do the following:
- Skate 10 feet without falling
- Standing from the ice in full hockey gear without assistance
THAT'S IT! We will do the rest to mold your little skater into the hockey player they want to become!
